While this is yet another book in the style of The Hunger Games, complete with teenage heroine on the precipice of life-changing events, there is so much skill in character development and world building that I was happily drawn into the story

Do yourself a favour (yes I'm British. We love our extra letters) and dive into this most excellent, moving, exciting read. And the good news is when you have devoured this book, there are more to come!

Absolutely enjoying this Small Sacrifices series! Seeing how Willow's evolving with her talents/powers is inspiring and the story is so well written. The writer truly invites you into feel what Willow is experiencing in every moment. All her emotions, frustrations, anger, excitement and desires lead you through every page wanting more!

I love this Book! I have both of the books that are out right now and they are both great. I love the work the author has put into these books, I can't wait for the other one. the characters have a personality and as an avid reader, I can say that these are probably the best books I have read.
