It’s amazing to me to realize that I have been writing books for 21 years now. It started out as a way to keep me from killing my boss for firing me from my job after I had my daughter, then morphed into a therapeutic way to tell a story. I’ve loved every step of the way, to a point. The last 5 years having my books banned on social media has been bitter-sweet in the essence of my royalties disappeared because I could not market my book properly, but sweet because it pushed me to go in a different direction to get my books out there. To date, my dystopian fantasy series has won 9 International book awards and 12 International film festivals. That is quite a feat!
One that that has been a constant during this time is my passion for helping others. I love it. I have struggled as an Indie author, learning the curves, how to get my books out there and trying to keep up with the changes so instead of charging others for my expertise and experience, I’d rather share it in the hopes that some day, the people I help might help me when I need it. Not everything needs to be monetary.
This year I’m on a new career path, as I’m finishing up my Order and Chaos dystopian fantasy series and hanging it up so that I can focus on a fantasy series, my dark thriller and delving into some ROHO (romantic horror). I’m super stoked on this new chapter and to celebrate, I’ve decided to start interviewing authors. New authors, established authors, authors all over the world! I’ll be posting their interviews on this website so that others can discover some amazing talent.
I’ll also be building my email list (finally!) I’ve been told time and time again to get an email list going so I’m going to commit. I’ll be having drawing for free books and prizes every month and want to involve my followers in my books. You may be named in one of my books!
Thank you all for sticking with me during this rollercoaster of a ride the past few years and here’s to some celebrations! I am so grateful to be on this ride with all of you!
